A Dangerous Game: Americas Cup Sailing In Bermuda With Bremont
“Somehow I’ve got to talk Giles and Nick into letting me do an ejection so I can get the watch.” Jimmy Spithill, the superstar Aussie skipper of Oracle Team USA, is sitting across from me all tanned and muscled, clutching an omnipresent can of Red Bull. “After winning the Cup, I want to do an ejection,” Spithill says with as much conviction and seriousness as he does when discussing how to win his second America’s Cup for Larry Ellison’s no-holds barred team. Of course, the watch he’s talking about is Bremont’s MBI, the pilot’s watch available for purchase only by “ejectees,” those who have escaped a doomed aircraft using a Martin-Baker ejection seat. 1 OF 15 Oracle Team USA skipper Jimmy Spithill Turns out, Spithill’s dream may not be far fetched. Look what I got in for a client (Snoopy hint)

Speedmaster accuracy
I've had my Speedy for about a week now, and am thoroughly enjoying it. I do have one concern. It is runnning about +9 seconds fast per 24 hours. It is fully wound every 24 hours, and I've tried different overnight positions- dial up, down, crown up, down etc. I am used to my Rolexes being very accurate and I realize that the Omega is not COSC certified, but is +9 casue for concern? Thanks for the help.
5164 Availability
Hello All,I've admired the Patek 5164 from afar for quite some time but have never been able to handle one/see one at an AD. Are these just so popular that they are impossible to find, a la 5711, or have I just been looking in the wrong places? (i.e. NY/CT)
Security Concerns
I never gave it much thought when I was younger, but now that I am over seventy, I worry about my sub on my wrist. Lucky I don't live in a large city. Now that I am Grey and Wrinkled, I do blend in with my surroundings here in Florida better than when I was younger. Thoughts from anyone ?
