Everyone knows Ellen DeGeneres – the mononymously famous Ellen (yes, that is a real word, we didn't make it up) is one of the best known and best liked people not just on TV, but in show business in general, and like many of you, we remember her turn as an Academy Awards host with a lot of pleasure. Not that that's setting the bar very high for success, but, you know, still. 1 OF 1 Anyway, she recently interviewed President Barack Obama for a segment of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and wouldn't you know it, on her wrist was a pretty great watch: a Rolex Daytona, reference 6265, in gold, looking to be from the 1970s. Advice needed on a speedmaster
Been thinking about getting a speedmaster and wanted to get some advice. First off im not too sure if i want a speedy pro or an automatic version and didnt want to go over 2K bc im just not that sure if im into the speedy that muchWas thinking about the 3510.50, bc i see its not that expensive and i prefer watches around 36mm for my small wrist, any idea on what a good price for one is?Thoughts? concerns? Two tone ceramic bluesy thoughts
After having this piece for a few years, it just doesn't do it for me. I hardly ever wear it, but when I do,it's too much bling. I'm thinking of trading it for a pre ceramic sub or Kermit once the USA housing market again collapses. I also find it hard to read because of all the colors. I've tried to like this watch because my wife even loves it. The AD loves it too and offered to buy it back less ten percent, which isn't so bad. My question is for sub wearers.... is the black legible. Do you guys like pre ceramic or ceramic. Then there's the bracelet to consider. The slid8ng clasp is a very nice option and I love it, BUT I never really have to use it. Not even on my deep blue. So, really it's not that important to me, despite being impressive. Have you guys ditched the two tone blue sub, and if so, for what? I think the standard sub would be my preference or even an explorer 2 for its gmt function. I guess I'll get gouged but my two tone is the newer sunburst dial. My wife loves the s
