Guys with Rose Gold Royal Oak, help me out please.
Hey I am currently about to pull the trigger on a rose gold 15400, before I do I want to know from the guys who own an OR AP just how much attention does it draw to your wrist?I spend most of my time in the Caribbean so I have never seen one or any AP on someone's wrist. I have seen a few stainless steels when I am in London and that is eye catching on its own, much less RG.Can you guys tell me if it's to the point where you feel uncomfortable?Merci!
Dark side of moon
Any sightings / lucky owners of this bad boy yet? I am on the sidelines for a few years due to pending home purchase... but this one keeps me up at night dreaming...
Anyone have 5711 and 114270 (exp1 36mm) comparison shots????
Hi all,I think both 5711 and 114270 have 44mm lug to lug length (Please correct me if I'm wrong). I have a small wrist at 6.25 and 114270 fits perfectly on my wrist. I'm saving for 5711 (which will take a long time... but it's going to be my last SS watch, hopefully) and want to gauge on how it will fit on my wrist. If anyone have 5711 and 114270 comparison shots, please share your pics!Pics of 5711 on 6.25 wrist would also help. Thank you guys!
The Definitive Patek
I know its expensive. In fact very expensive. No, it's stupidly expensive. But;I just love it.I always wanted a PP with officers style case. And the the magazine arrived...With the 5227 in.So called the local AD, a friend. One had just come in that day. I'll go and have a look, but only will be interested if in yellow gold...It was in yellow gold. That was Thursday. I said I would think about.Friday pm I went back....I will take it I said.....And my AD then said that's good, someone came in this morning and wanted to buy it, the AD said it was taken for...I saved up and paid bit by bit. Bit by bit.I wear it all the time now. It's scratched and a bit battered in places..it's been up mountains and across moors. And the straps a bit worn allready. But in my opinion it is the definitive Patek. The 'rolex explorer' of the PP line...Yes it's expensive....
Is it safe to play blocks with your 2 year old with your 40 year of DJ 36?
Don't give much thought to heavy construction or diving down 70 feet or running bulls in Spain, but was this too risky?
