Erroyl E30 Heritage Review
In the sub $500 price range, there are plenty of sport watches, tool watches, pilots watches, etc While these might be the watches we typically wear, and cover on w&w, every collection, nay every person, needs at least one dress or formal watch to wear. Whether your personal style just leans more towards the formal, you need to dress conservatively for work, or you need the right watch to match to your suit for the odd wedding: it's unavoidable.Well, Australian newcomer Erroyl seeks to change this with their first series of watches, the E30 Heritage line. Designed to be as handsome as it is affordable, the E30 features sapphire crystals, a Miyota 9015 and a price point of only $283. This makes the E30 an interesting offering as it's not only one of the few mechanical dress/casual pieces under $500, it's one of the least expensive watches to be powered by the 9015. The question is, is it worth it's modest price tag?Erroyl E3 Heritage ReviewCase: PolishedMovement: Miyota 9015Dial: S
Nomos Introduces DUW 3001 Automatic, Minimatic and more
Nomos is always an exciting brand to visit at BaselWorld. Last year, they wowed with the introduction of the swing system, their proprietary escapement that marked a huge step for the brand (as it would any brand, really) and their Metro. This year, Nomos came ready with the natural progression of that development, boasting several new models and a totally new automatic movement.First up are the Metro 38 Datum and the Metro 38 Datum black. The Metro 38 Datum is a companion piece to the previously released Datum, which is undoubtedly one of Nomos' quirkiest timepieces. At 38mm, it's 1.5mm larger than the Datum, but it still feels perfectly balancedperhaps even more so due to the more restrained dial. Eschewing the power reserve indicator, the Metro 38 Datum instead focuses on bringing symmetry to the design. We had an early look at this piece a few months ago, and seeing it in the metal certainly helped build our appreciation for what at the time felt like a curious addition to the lin
Incoming: Omega Aqua Terra - sunburst blue!
After lots and lots of searching, finally found one of these gems! This marks my first (and certainly not last) Omega in the collection. This AT is a first gen 39.2mm model with a sunburst blue dial and co-axial 2500 movement. As much as I like the newer skyfall blue AT's, I find the sunburst blue dial very attractive and much cleaner looking without the vertical lines. It's pretty versatile and looks great on both the stainless bracelet and leather straps (Bas & Lokes strap in the 2nd picture).Anyways, thought I'd share a few pics of this beauty as I was on the search for some time.

Panerai 562 & 590
I currently own among other things a Pam 562. I'm starting to really like the Pam 590 as well. I don't want to give up the 562 so I am thinking of adding the 590. Anyone think they are too similar?
