My new 15300OR
I had to flip my 15400ST because it just was too big for me. Well I really like the Rose gold RO’s so I stopped by AP in Clearwater and they let me try on some 39mm’s and they were perfect. So I started the long search and finally found this beauty. I think it fits me perfectly. Came with box and papers and 2 year warranty. I know AP still makes a 39 in the Jumbo but man I wish they would for their whole line. I’d love to get an offshore in 39 or at least 40mm.
Bezel change
I want to change the bezel on my Super Ocean Heritage from black to green, does anyone know of a source for this part only without sending to Breitling for a complete service as the watch is only 18 months old.ThanksWayne
Do you know where I can find the pillow for the new Bakelite box?
Maybe somebody here can help me. I've lost the black pillow for the newer bigger bakelite boxes. I have been trying to look for this for a while and La Swiss doesn't sell just the pillow. I'm in Canada so local is preferred but taking any information.Any information would be greatly appreciated.thanks,Jok
Speedmaster 861 Opinion Request
I am new to collecting and would like your opinion(s) on a Speedmaster cal 861, circa early 1970's, that I recently purchased. The previous owner replaced the hands and hazelite crystal but, all else remains original including the dial. It came with its original bracelet but I put on a nice alligator band because I love the look and also so that I don't mess up the bracelet. All is in excellent vintage condition including the bracelet which show very little signs of wear. The opinions as the the following will be greatly appreciated.1. Does the replacement of the hands with new affect the value?2. What is your opinion as to its value with the new hands?3. What do you think the value would be if it was completely original.
Underneath the ohm symbol...
Greetings TRF,Here we have a beautiful 1976 (or thereabout) Omega Seamaster with the reference number ST 366.0848, something that was passed down to me by one of my mentors in Gotham. This thread is dedicated to him. If you flip this watch, you will find its bracelet and clasp......As well as its caseback with the classic Seamaster logo. Now once you pop it......Well...let's not even try to describe it. Rather, allow me to show it to you...Omega's caliber 1020, an automatic movement with day and date indicators! The hairspring...I always need to take a picture of it. Boy am I glad this one's shock protection device has an incabloc spring, it's much easier to work on those...It's more difficult to take pictures of an automatic watch's movement because of the rotor but I still managed to find a few good things to shoot. The logo on the rotor is very subtle, just a very fine little detail that makes it look nice! ...And some other pictures! Thank you for watching, feel free to comment!
