Another first AP thread! ROO Safari
I haven't been a long time AP lover, in fact I never considered one like some watches that I've wanted for years (such as a PP nautilus) but not too long ago I went into the only AD in Melbourne that stocks AP's and had a browse....didn't take long to want one more than any watch I could think of! I guess I don't see many, if any, around here and pictures just don't do them justiceThey happened to have a Royal Oak Offshore Safari and another model in stock that arrived the day before. The sales guy was actually surprised as he said they normally sell Safari's to VIP's before they hit the shelf and that they only get allocated 2 per financial year from AP (who knows how much truth is in that...they are salespeople after all)Anyway, told me the price...and that there are no discounts even though I'm a long time client since its such a rare/sought after model in Australia and they were confident it would sell for full price that week. Incoming - Finally getting around to posting pics.
So after seeing SteelerFan65's beautiful chocolatey goodness 53 year old Speedy (His beauty can be seen here:.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=293173), I really wanted one. So with the help of Krlyuzh I was able to acquire my own chocolatey goodness! I have had it for a couple of weeks, but finally got around to posting the pics. Hope you enjoy as much as I have wearing this beauty. Right now keeping it on the bracelet, but am looking for a nice brown leather band. Now I just to have wait for 53 years before I can get that vintage look! A couple of wrist shots.
deployant clasp & strap
Hi. I'm planning on replacing the buckle on my Calatrava for a deployant clasp. Will the origional strap work or will it need a strap special for the clasp? Also wondering what Patek straps are selling for. Thanks in advance.
PAM 449 Wrist shots as promised!!
Just changed to my new Diver's strap from Bob Montana. Made a huge difference from the original strap. L O V I N G I T !!!!!!!
