Popular “budget” brand, Techn�� looks to have another winner on their hands with the recently released Merlin Collection. The military inspired pieces – reminiscent of airplane cockpit instrumentation and early mil watches – are available in a time (with seconds) only or a multi-function version. ?The movement inside of each is a Seiko Instruments quartz movement, specifically the VD78.A quick look at the specs reveal a very moderate 38mm size with 20mm lugs and a mineral crystal. Water resistance is shallow at 50M, which is logical for a watch with pilot-styling. The watch has a number of options for the strap at purchase: NATO, canvas or cowhide leather options are available for each model. More time than others
Hello!Since I bought my Breitling B1, I don't wear my Rolex Deep Sea or my Pam 422. I did wear both after 10 days wearing the B1 non stop in New York. But I left them in the box and when I open it and I see that I need to wind the Pam and put the date to the Rolex... I decide to keep wearing the B1.I know that maybe I'm still in the honey moon with the watch, but I just love it.

vintage omega question
Hi!,I have an old omega geneve which was given to me by my dad about three years back. I had it serviced in the omega center and they did a beautiful job, making the watch run at about +1/day. After a year or so of seldom wear, water got in when I was in the rain. The case back apparently had a crack which was thought to be previously harmless. I took back the watch and had the service center replace the whole case, crystal and case back as the buying the case back was possible. I assume they didn't re-service the watch and just transplanted the movement on the new case. I wore the watch sparingly and didn't time it until now. Now, I just noticed that it is +25/day. It has been pretty consistent the past few days, +15 overnight and +10 while being worn. My problem is that I am overseas and will probably be here for the next half year or so. No omega service centers here and I don't speak the local language so I don't really want to bring it to a local repair shop here. Will
