Ulysse Nardin Launches Limited Edition Timepiece for Monaco Yacht Show
Ulysse Nardin, a brand steeped in nautical history, is participating for the fourth year as an official sponsor of the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show. To commemorate the occasion, the brand has introduced a new, limited-edition timepiece to its Marine Diver collection. The watch contains a self-winding movement, Caliber UN-26, equipped with a 42-hour power reserve (indicated on the dial at 12 o’clock) and an oversize date display (indicated in a round window at 6 o’clock, along with the small-seconds subdial). As on the previously released Black Sea and Blue Sea editions, the dial and the blue rubber strap are both embossed with a nautical-inspired wave pattern motif. The stainless-steel case, which is a generous 45.8 mm in diameter, has been treated with a sophisticated vulcanization process that gives it a blue rubber coating that the company says increases its comfort on the wrist. Its sapphire exhibition caseback is stamped with the emblem of the principality of Monaco. The
Question on Reliability of AP
Hi,So I've heard/read quite many horror stories of the reliability of AP in general. However I'm thinking about getting a steel 15400 and a gold jumbo 15202 sometime down the line. My question is how reliable are the 3120 and 2121 movements? I understand they probably need to be serviced more often than say, a rolex, and will also be more expensive to service, both of which are fine by me. I am just worried/concerned with repeated services/malfunctions in short periods of time. I'm not a clumsy person and don't bang up my watch so I expect a service every 3-5 years but don't think I can go with AP if a significant percentage (say over 10%) of AP owners have experienced nightmares/disasters with their new AP watches (3120/2121 movements).Sorry if this isn't a good question but I'm trying to decide if I should stick to Rolex as AP's reliability or lack of, could be the potential deal breaker. Thanks very much
THE SIHH 2018 Thread
Ok so this is what I was told:- 44 with a bracelet (Ti or SS)- new diver colors including pink(?) - no ceramics- Ladies' Black cerami RO's- white ceramic perpetual RO- SS RO with blue dial and gold numerals- a couple of new 42 but no ceramicsNot sure how accurate the above is but it's a good start.
Who is going to Geneve SIHH 2015?

Another Diver rubber strap question
Hello,I just bought a ROO Panda. I have the Hornback on it right now but I want to add a Diver rubberstrap to use in the summer. I have a few questions:What size do I need for the Diver strap. On the Hornbackstrap with folding clasp, I use the third hole from the end. What is the size of the diverstrap at the buckle end (24mm??), is it possible to put it on by myself or do I need a AD, and finally what is the price for Diver rubberstrap and buckle.Thanks//Fred
