IWC has a wonderful history of no nonsense, beautiful, and impactful wristwatches. I'm talking Mark XI pilots watches, Ingenuiers, and of course, the Portuguese. To be fair, there isn't a more important IWC family to any real collector than the Portuguese, and just yesterday, IWC released a 164-page online book about this most important collection. 1 OF 3 This online book covers not only the earliest days of the Portuguese family – including how many examples of the early reference 325 were made and in which series – but also every subsequent variation of the Portuguese family. Baselworld 2012 is upon us and Patek Philippe is (as always) introducing some new and interesting models this year. Some are mere modification of dials (or added metals) to existing models (5396, 5711, 5726, 5960, 5980, 5207, 7071 etc.)Some have added bracelets (5130, 5396, etc.), but we see also some brand new and exciting models: 5940, 5204 etc.This picture below shows all new 2012 models. Visit to my AD today...Left with few goodies.
Hello all,A great visit today to my Patek AD. The great news first: My wonderful wife got her first Patek today. She looked at several and as I would have guessed she picked the 5068R Aquanaut with beautiful diamond bezel. She is so excited and now a member of the Patek family...Big congrats to her and well deserved! I also was lucky enough to get a stunning pair of RG Cufflinks. They are so elegant and Patek classy! I also have attached a few shots I took of some Patek goodies. Cheers all and have a great weekend!

Rolex 118206 Platinum Day Date
My wife joined the Platinum club with a 36mm Platinum Day-Date with a Platinum Myriad diamond dial. She absolutely LOVES it. I honestly cannot believe how heavy it is compared to some of my other watches. Something special about a Platinum watch. Happy 5 year anniversary my love As you can see, it was a little cold outside taking a couple snaps.

Another incoming (that was unexpected )
On December 2017 I paid in full for a white dial Daytona which I am still waiting for. When I was picking my SkyDweller Blue dial 10 days ago ( March 5th) I asked my saleswoman at the AD if she had any updates on it. She said that a black dial Daytona had come last month but she still did not get one with the white dial. I was second in line in December and I was still second in line then. Not the greatest news . She continued saying that she called the guy in front of me ( also fully paid for a white dial) to see if he wanted the black dialed one but he turned it down so she called the guy that was on the list ( just a small deposit ) for the black. I responded that if she had called me I would have taken the black dial. I thought you were set firmly on the white dial one , that is why I didn't call you she responded. oh I am firm on the white. This is the one I really want, but I would have taken the black also I f you would sell it to me . I was expecting to get stared at fun
