233 strap
I have a 8 wrist and the strap that came with the 233 is a bit small. I ordered the same strap in XL however it just doesn't seem to wear right.Have any of you found a strap that shows off the 233 for the watch that it is, if so from who and what?
5-vs-6 digit Bluesy
Hello Everyone,I wanted to start off by saying I've decided on my first and only watch to be a 5 or 6 digit Bluesy, but am stuck as to which to get.The five-digit was the watch I saw as a child and was inspired by and have always wanted. The six-digit gives me all the updates and comforts I fell in love with when trying it on at an AD recently, but I've never been able to compare both models side by side.I've heard/read split reviews regarding the dials being either both the same or the 5-digit having a more iridescent hue... not sure which is correct.I've also had people advise me on getting the six digit so I have the full Rolex experience and have my name on the warranty card. I could buy new, haggle down about a 10% discount, and state this is my celebration of what I've achieved in life.....but then the frugal nut in me thinks of how much more attainable the 5 digit is in price and that it's THE watch I've always wanted. I wouldn't have a warranty card, but at least I'd do a full
Tudor Warranty - voided if from grey market???
See below for a pic of the Tudor warranty card I got with my recent Black Bay acquisition. What do you make of the line about, ...valid only if (1) the watch was sold to a consumer by the Official Tudor Jeweler whose name appears on the warranty card and (2) the warranty card is completely filled out by the Official Tudor Jeweler at the time of purchace ... void if any intervention by a third party...Does this mean if you buy the watch second hand, i.e. not from the Official Tudor Jeweler whose name appears on the warranty card, they will void the warranty? Is this an attempt to keep people from buying from a grey?
Incoming BLNR
It's arrived and I'm very pleased, it's a great addition to my collection.
Cant tell the time, but do I give a hoot.
Finally wore my black dial 500 today.I know it's hard to tell the time quickly, but I couldn't care less. At times it takes two seconds, but I still push it to three. Honeymoon period obviously.Btw I'm not a race driver, solicitor or have a job that dictates telling the time quickly or covertly. So stare I can. I especially love gloss black dials. So for me It had to be black dial with black bezel. Those that buy white because they dig it, fine. Those that blindly buy white because of the higher resale value, even if they prefer black, behave yourself.Btw, this is all tongue in cheek. Long live the Daytona!(Sent from iPad, and iPad pic is too large - watch guy, not a computer guy!)
