Omega Olympic Timeless Collection Watches
This collection is really a great idea from Omega. It was only a matter of time before their Olympic connection went more mainstream. Typically the Olympics theme is only used with limited edition watches that are great, but high in cost and hard to find. Now Omega has decided that the Olympics connection is more mainstream marketable (still not cheap though) - something which which I agree. Thus, we have at least four new watches in the "Olympic Timeless Collection" that not only has very attractive watches, but deeply imbues each timepiece with a classic style and the Olympics + Omega connection. The watches here contain one of two movements. First is the Omega Caliber 3313 Co-Axial automatic movement that is the more classic looking tri-compax chronograph with three subdials. This is placed in the Seamaster models. Then there is my favorite, the Omega Caliber 3888 Co-Axial automatic movement first seen in 2008 on this limited edition Omega Summer Olympics watch. The very cool movemen
Hear my train a comin'...
Greetings TRF,I was on my way to University last Thursday and I thought I could try to take some pictures of my Seamaster Pro while I was in the train. I got the idea when I noticed the reflection of my watch in the window looked quite good and would probably make a good picture. Of course if anybody has similar pictures feel free to post them! I thought this would be different if you compare it to those classic (although very nice) watches and cars threads!Photo0088.jpgPhoto0099.jpgPhoto0089.jpgPhoto0090.jpgOf course there's nothing like listening to some Jimi Hendrix while you're on the rails!Photo0096.jpgAnother reflexion picture in the tunnel.Photo0101.jpgSince my watch got exposed to sunlight the markers and hands got very bright so I thought I'd try to block the lights and get some pictures!Photo0102.jpgPhoto0103.jpgSorry about the bad quality of some pictures but I took them with my phone. Feel free to comment!
Who has better lume Omega or Marathon?
I'm looking very seriously at pulling the trigger on a Marathon SAR as I'd like a seriously rugged dive watch with very good lume. I've had a 2254.50 omega and was thrilled with the lume. I'm a bit dissapointed with the lume on my Sub Date. How does marathon stack up?Thanks Guys
4 year waiting list for the New Daytona...
According to the AD I was at today...So it made me wonder: If one actually waits and gets a watch 4 years from now...Are they going to pay todays prices...???Or the price 4 years from now...???
Daytona Availability
Hey I'm sorry if this is a silly question as I've been off of this forum for a while but how bad is availability for the new Daytona? I spoke to my AD and he said it's worse than ever and I'm afraid that since I've been buying Patek from a different AD that I'm not going to have a shot at one for a long time. Thanks for your help.
