Hi everybody!Can somebody explain why the AP Bands conversion kit costs more then the genuine plots?I went to Milano's boutique today to see if they have the conversion kit in stock and they do! The sales agent saved for me until tomorrow because she will check if she can get the blue leather or rubber strap for me, as long as my 26321 is blue. The plots costs EUR200.00! It was a long time coming to get this. 2 years ago I picked this out, waited and waited. Finally I saw it in a dealer and then knew I had to have it. SO I ordered it 8 weeks ago. It arrived today! Rolex as Store of Value
What you are missing is the way some people look at Rolex watch ownership. Many people look at a Rolex watch as a store of value worn on the wrist. This store of value is readably accessible in case cash is needed, often in gambling venues. I know many regulars on this site will knock this post but this is a segment of the Rolex market and does not include other watch brands.
Anyone else develop a crack on their Sub C pip?
So about 6 weeks into ownership of my first new ad purchased sub c, I noticed that the pip (bezel lume dot) has a crack?!?! This watch isn't babied but I do work in an office and so it's not seen any abuse at all. Sent to RSC Dallas this week so I'll report back with findings. I wouldn't have sent it but was sending another watch for service anyway so decided to see what happens. Anyone else had this happen???
