Why oh why can't there be some cool cult watch made popular by being on Harrison Ford's wrist in one of his movies? Seriously, not even Indiana Jones wore a timepiece. Jim at Continental Jewelers in Washington, DC, has decided to close out his watch business. As many of you recall, Jim's leased location was demolished for new construction several years ago. Because of his age (he will be 83 in October) and Omega's move from ADs to boutiques, Jim decided not to go with the expense of a new show room which meant losing his AD status with Omega.He has been able to continue business as usual but now due to his wife's illness, his intent is to be closed down by the end of the year.
