Swatch Group & Comco: 10 Key Moments
As we reported in October, Switzerland's Competition Commission (Comco) has announced a decision to allow the Swatch Group, Switzerland’s dominant producer of mechanical watch movements, to gradually halt sales of those movements to companies outside the group in 2020. Here is a timeline of 10 key moments in the ongoing legal soap opera between Swatch Group and Comco.August 2002: ETA SA, the Swatch Group's movement-making subsidiary, announces that it will stop supplying kits of loose movement components for mechanical watches, called bauches, to third parties. It plans to reduce quantities gradually over three years and halt sales as of January 1, 2006. ETA says that the bauches business represents less than two percent of Swatch Group total sales and the logistics are much too expensive and complex to maintain such supply. New red stitching strap
Would the new horn back strap with red stitching, that came out recently with the new ROO's, look good on the last generation ROO Panda?

Speedmaster Decisions & Advice Please
Hi All -A Rolex guy trying to increase my Speedmaster knowledge! I am happily hunting for a Speedmaster. It will replace my recently sold and loved 16710 and be worn Mon thru Thu at the office. My 14060 Sub owns my wrist from Thur thru Sun. I am liking the idea of those 2 icons as the platform for my rotation. A Zenith Class Elite earns church and suit duty. I prefer to buy here or on TZ - but not much available now. I hear jmryshi is a trusted seller on the bay and below are 2 listings I am targeting at the approx $1800 range.Questions:Anything look wrong with the below listings?what is the difference between the 3570 and 3590?I have the flip sickness - which Speedmaster (of any) will be the easiest to resell?Should I consider the Broadarrow?A million thannks!!! 3570.50cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT3590.50cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Daytona 116500LN - black or white dial?
Hi All,My AD called me yesterday that after the long wait the SS Daytona that I ordered long time ago is now in store. I am in such a fortunate situation that I have a possibility to choose between the white and black dial version. I went in today to try both on but honestly speaking I could not make up my mind either way. I love the black rims around the sub dials on the white version but also like the homogen black colour of the dial & bezel on the black version. Also as I wear the SD43 and a YMII on a daily basis I am used to bigger watches, so whichever of the 2 appears bigger is also a factor for me to consider.Any thoughts to help me decide are much appreciated. Thanks, Adam
