Jaeger-LeCoultre's 39mm Master Ultra Thin case (henceforth known at MUT) is one of my absolute favorites. It is the perfect size for me, the perfect size for a dress watch, and no matter the complication, it just works. Take, for example, two introductions in this line from the past two years - 2011's Master Ultra Thin Moon and 2012's Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon. Both of these watches are simply divine (and the latter is one of the few tourbillons I would actually wear in public without feeling like a true, well, you know what I mean). Consistently losing time
Hi. My Aquanaut has been losing 6 seconds a day over the past 2 months. I have tried putting it in various positions when its not on my wrist (crown up, crown down, face up, face down...etc). I was planning on going to Henri Stern on Monday to see if they can either take the watch to fix this or am I being overly demanding? Any opinions will be appreciated. Thanks

3940/5140 vs. 5970/5270 Comparison..
I have been contemplating a perpetual calendar (5140) to compliment my perpetual calendar chronograph (5270). After doing extensive research I have noticed when comparing the perpetual calendars to their chronograph parallel the value just has not been there in the previous references which tells me maybe not to purchase the current 5140 if I were to go long for the future.. Looking at previous perpetual references.. the 3940 and prior has not done nearly as well as the 5970.. 3970 etc. The perpetual calendar chrono's mostly hold their retail value and or increase versus the 3940 etc.. which one can find at significant discounts below retail.. I know one is a chrono and the other is not.. but is there any other reason to this madness?

Hello, those blue dial Datejust 41 are looking nice on the Rolex web site, but my local dealer is sold out. While they have a couple of subs on hand they say the blue dials are popular and sell out fast. BS? At any rate, that closest dealer to me here in Texas is a boutique and I'm wondering if they typically discount? While I don't mind paying full price I certainly don't want to pay more than should. I have seen instances on here where members state they received a substantial discount from a trusted seller yet I haven't been able to see any place that lists reputable venders, is there such a list? I would like a Datejust to share time with the sub I bought 12 years ago. Thanking you in advance for any constructive directives in obtaining my goal.
