Mhle Glashtte Seebattailon GMT Review
One of the things that sets Mhle Glashtte's sport watches apart is that some of their designs are driven by collaborations with military/government groups with specific needs. A perfect example of this is with their S.A.R. Rescue Timer, which was designed with the needs and desires of Germany's S.A.R. teams, who needed a watch built like none other. The end result is a truly unique and robust timepiece that can more than stand day-to-day wear.At BaselWorld 2013, Mhle released a new collaborative piece, the Seebattailon GMT. Designed to suit the needs of the German Seebattailon (Marine Battalion), a unit within the German Navy that is regularly deployed around the world, the watch brings together many great features and a clean look. It's a 300m titanium GMT diver with Mhle's extensively in-house altered ETA 2893-2 movement inside. Patek AD Price Negotiation
I am considering buying my first PP watch- a 5196g. I have an established relationship with an AD (purchased 5 Rolex watches from them in the past 2 years). As a general rule should I expect to pay MSRP or is there room for negotiation on PP watches? (I know this particular one is easy to obtain). If so, what percentage below MSRP would be considered reasonable?
Help me from this insanity!!!!!!!
Ever since several members, AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! Have been talking about, as well as showing their lovely photos of their new 3940's. I have had the craving t get one.My first and so far only step at getting a Patek Perpetual Calendar was when I bought a 5140G about 4 years ago, at that time I thought it was going to be my finally watch!!!!Well,it wasn't to be and I did a deal which introduced me to the world of Mr FP Journe. But thats another story. Now from listening to what many members have said, and I have to agree the 3940 is a lot easier watch to read, so with that in mind I am considering trading my 5205G in against one, as and when I can find one! Please give me your thoughts on this craving and possible trade?Currently my 5205G is at the Patek service centre in the UK, having the dial exchanged for the lighter one and a light polish, so will come back looking like newPlease, fuel my desire my including as many photos and reviews as you like
