I mean Lange showed us the updated Dato Perpetual last year, so what's the big deal about adding a tourbillon? Well, this is Lange, and Lange doesn't do anything the easy way – this limited edition block of platinum is anything but ordinary and I'll tell you all about it below. 1 OF 6 The Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon is limited to 100 pieces, all in platinum. Essentially what we have here are three high-end complications pieced together. Regretfully: More thoughts on Ref 5320G
Only a few short weeks ago we all saw the release of the perpetual calendar 5320G and my first reaction was not good! In fact you may have read about my initial gut reaction here... Now, I'm suddenly starting to come around to the overall look of the watch. What's wrong with me?? untitled.jpgThe vintage look of the watch definitely has something to do with it as I like classic watches. In fact some of my fellow forum member friends call me an old man although I am not even in my 40s yet! The similarities (no offense to the purists!) with the grail reference 3450 is likely another culprit. I was lucky enough to handle a 3450 that Mr. Bain had a couple of years ago and it is magic with incredible elegance and simplicity.
