Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Watch for Singapore's Raffles Hotel
Of all of the world's many thousands of hotels, very few ever become an icon for the city or country in which they are based. Consider Haiti's Hotel Oloffson, Dubai's Burj Khalifa (as seen in MI4: Ghost Protocol) or the Bellagio Hotel of Las Vegas. These are hotels that have become international set pieces and back drops that make up part of the visual mindscape that many people have for locations that they may have never visited. Some hotels are so longstanding that they can become a pillar for global tourism in their area. The U-Boat orange monster has a noticeable bright orange dial which makes it most visible in deep water where shorter wavelengths get absorbed.
Incoming.
Had my eye on this for a little while, Was back and forth between the 15400 and 15300, I like the bigger size and i don't think it wears to big like a lot of people do. Anyways i am loving this watch and its a nice change up to my collection.
PO returned.
This is embarrassing guys, but confirms a lesson I should know by heart. In less than 15 days I returned the PO 2208.50. I was really happy to have it back, but the reason why I sold it in the first place was still there and nothing I could do about it. This is not the first time I buy a watch back and get rid of it again, but less than two weeks is impressive so I hope I'll never make this mistake again.
GMT II Nato
Had a great Saturday in the spring sunshine. Made even better by adding this Nato to my GMT II.Really digging it. No more desk diving scratches! R
