Breitling Exospace B55: The New Connected Chronograph for Pilots (with Video)
Rounding out a year in which we’ve seen several traditional Swiss watch brands release decidedly nontraditional “connected” watches most recently TAG Heuer and Movado Breitling enters the arena this week with the launch of the Breitling Exospace B55. As fans of the brand have come to expect, its range of functions is eminently suitable for aviators and aviation enthusiasts. The mission statement of the Breitling Exospace B55 an electronic chronograph watch that was teased but not officially launched at Baselworld 2015 earlier this year is distinctive among the burgeoning crop of Swiss smartwatches and connected watches in that Breitling did not want to create a watch that was “dependent on a smartphone yet less efficient than the latter.” In other words, whereas the timepiece is built to pair up with a smartphone, it is also equipped for two-way communication between the devices, so both phone and watch form a complementary pair in which each does w

That should scare off most...Just received this in the mail today.Stainless steel case, signs of polishing, dial slightly less than perfect. Elegant and thin, completely opposite it's new owner...Must say I have a weakness for the cushion case, although this one doesn't have a round face. Also love high-end watches that are low in demand (and therefore low priced!)Kinda have to watch the second hand move to avoid confusing it with the minute hand. But I have a feeling I'll get used to it!

5130 World Time or 5396 Calatrava
Hi guysJust wondering what your thoughts were on these 2 watches. 5130: a distinctively PP piece, although VC make one simpler, the PP is better all-round, and the micro rotor is just fantastic. A unique piece, but maybe a little dial busy and difficult to read the time. Great complication for frequent travellers.5396: a step into the great PP territory, an annual calendar. Simple, clean lines and useful day/month indicators. A Calatrava classic.I understand they are apples and oranges, but if you had to choose one, what would it be? What is also likely to be more unique/collectible in future? Thanks?
