Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept CS1 Tourbillon GMT Watch
I was really happy to see a new Royal Oak Concept watch. It is hard to explain where this collection fits in to the Audemars Piguet watch collection. They aren't quite Royal Oaks, and they aren't quite Royal Oak Offshores. Rather, they are highly futuristic looking high-end watches that are another Royal Oak collection all together. There are a few Royal Oak Concept watches. The first one came out in 2002 as a 30th anniversary model of the Royal Oak watch. Since then a handful of these watches were released in a few different versions. The most recent model was the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Carbon Concept Tourbillon Chronograph. The case design has been consistent since the first Concept watch. What has changed are the materials and complications in the movement. The 2011 Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon GMT is one of the most simple versions, but very elegant in its design. It features the time, a tourbillon, and a GMT second time zone dial. At the bottom of the watch is a simple selection
Introducing: The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5mm, Omega's First METAS Certified
The Planet Ocean Collection was first launched in 2005 and has become a mainstay, in the last 10 years, of Omega's sports watch collections. This year Omega has released a brand new Planet Ocean 45.5 mm Chronograph, with a new co-axial chronograph movement (METAS/Master Chronometer certified, a first for Omega chronographs) and in new materials. It's one of three Master Chronometer certified Seamasters in the new-for-2015 Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer Collection, along with the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Auto, and the Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT. As you may know, the current Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5 mm features the co-axial caliber 9300 movement in titanium with blue dial and bezel. This year's Baselworld release features a new movement: the automatic co-axial chronometer caliber 9901/9900. This is one of the first generation of movements to be certified by METAS (the Swiss Federal institute of Metrology) and thus, one of the first generation (alo
Breitling B2 Gaining Time?
Hi all...new to the forum though been lurking for quite some time. Wondering if any Breitling owners have experienced consistent issues with their watch keeping accurate time?Bought my husband a B2 as an engagement present in 2006 from an AD here in MD. Starting about 8 months ago, it started gaining 10 seconds a day on a regular basis. Before this issue started, it always kept incredibly accurate time...and its been back in and out of the Breitling hospital 4 times since then...it just got back from the fourth visit to Breitling and we're picking it up this weekendmon issue? Any potential root causes? He wears the B2 all the time, but is really careful with it. And weird that this just started happening a few months ago. Thanks in advance....
Sky Dweller two tone with blue sun ray dial?
I'm curious, a friend of mine just purchased a two tone Sky Dweller with the blue dial. I thought the blue dial only came with SS/white gold? Did Rolex ever made one?
Any regret for TT GMT IIc owner?
Now, this is quiet silly question. But I just wonder, for all TT GMTIIc owner, does any of you ever regret for buying TT GMT IIc instead of other models? For me, that's the only Rolex I got so far and what can I say? It's a beauty.
