Star Wars Darth Vader Costume On Sale: What Watch Would He Wear?
Star Wars lore seems to indicate that some who are strong in the force can see into the future to an extent. Does this mean they inherently know what time it is? Darth Vader does not wear a watch, though his suit might tell him what time it is. This very cool Darth Vader costume is on sale right now on Buywatches-dealer (pictured, click to go to product page). The costume is not cheap as far as Halloween costumes go, but it is high quality, and suitable for many occasions whether you are scaring little kids or participating in a fan event. You get the cape, jump suit, helmet, and rugged injection molded armor pieces. All I think you need to provide are black shoes and a light saber. After seeing this costume, I thought to myself, what watches would go well with this outfit?Darth Vader Costume 50% Off HereThis is by no means a comprehensive list, but merely a few options. Feel free to add your own suggestions and thoughts for watches fitting the Darth Vader attire.Along those lines, her
Has My new speedy got a proble?
Hi. I hope somebody reading this can enlighten me a little. My new Speedmaster that I picked up a week ago which has the 9300 movement fitted seems to have a stiff rotor, it seems to revolve in quarter revolutions and the stop, then I turn the watch a little more and is revolves another quarter turn etc. It seems not to revolve so freely as my other Omegas (with see through backs) and the 3313 movement fitted they really spin around. There is also a little noise when it spins around. but again the Cal 3313 does not have this. It is keeping good time though. Is this how this new movement is or should I take it back for Omega to look at. I have waited so long for this watch I am reluctant to lose it for a month or so if there is nothing to worry about . Thanks guys. Alan
Patek discount too good to be true?!
Hi all, long time lurker and finally decided to join because something happened to me recently.I have been collecting watches for sometime now and recently started to purchase Pateks. I recently visited an AD in the US with whom I have no prior relationship, and inquired about a highly sought-after brand new Nautilus. He said he does not have one in stock but can order one in and it will be here in 3 to 4 weeks. I asked him how confident he is with this estimate. He said 100%.We then proceeded to discuss price. Without much effort on my end, he offered a discount in the 15-20% range. I gave a range here because I am guaranteed at least 15% but he gave me a sense that it could possibly go to 20% if I commit soon. I was shocked upon hearing the discount, but kept my poker face until the end.For the record, this is a popular Nautilus model that many of the members here sport. From what the store told me, he is only being allocated one this year. Once I buy it, he will not have mo
