Amazing service in Clearwater
Sent my 15400 in for two year pressure test, inspection and warranty extension. They found some of the oils had dried so they did a complete service, sent an apologetic letter and extended the warranty two years! Total time from drop off to pickup at Govberg was 23 days! Makes you wonder about Patek's 6-8 month turnaround for simple service. Glad to have it back.
Is there a way to sync the ROC?
Since the 2385 calibre is non-hacking, is there a way to actually sync the time for the ROC?I've read in other threads of ways to sync non-hacking watches, but not sure I want to try it on the AP, and just wondering what others do here with their APs with non-hacking movements. The ROC is my first non-hacking watch, and it hasn't really bothered me at all (to my own surprise as I like to sync my watches), but just curious as to what others do.Cheers,James
First Patek arrived this morning...
Thanks to everyone who chimed in about cutting the strap, and all the gratuitous picture posts that help me fall in love with this watch!I probably spent 10 minutes unboxing everything before I even got to the watch! The clasp is amazing.I must admit, when I first saw the Aquanaut several years ago I thought it was terrible. Actually, at that time, everything in the Patek lineup was nothing special to me (into Panerai and Rolex at the time)...now I'm thinking it's time the Panerai moves on - I can't see why I'd wear it now that I have this beauty.
New OEM straps for my 024.
Hey guys, I just picked up a few straps from the AD the other day. Rivetta gold, Assolutamente (mouthful), and the JV.
Worth it?
Hello everyone. From coming home from work I ventured into one of the gold stores to look at some watches. I was supprised to find this Tudor Daydate Prince watch for only $750. I realized the day was stuck on it and after teling them they said they would definitely fix that before purchase. The bracelet does have some considerable stretch, but otherwise it seemed to be in good condition. Is this a good price for this watch? I hear a lot about this watch being hard to obtain, is it? And should i trust their ability to fix the day wheel? https://m.imgur/gallery/QvGAYSD
