Tiffany & Co. Streamerica on eBay: Timeless Classic And Chronometer
The Streamerica is one of my favorite watch designs. It is no longer being sold, and was available for a few years through Tiffany & Co. as part of their Streamerica series of jewelry. The Streamerica is an interesting looking watch. Curious in its design, it seems to have been inspired by American industrialism. The riveted look of the watch and band are a tribute to early trains, planes, ships built in the United States. The look of the watch is meant to appear to have been bolted together. The rounded edges evoke a streamlined aerodynamic look suggesting speed movement. This is intended to be a travelers watch, or at least for someone who is on the move. Anyone however can appreciate its tough yet sophisticated shapes out of a engineer's technical manual.Even though the watch is so reminiscent of Americana, European born Jorg Hysek was commissioned to design the piece. Hysek is a legend in his own right having designed many famous watches including the Kirium series for Tag Heue
Macro Photography - 15407
Well, it's about time for Macro photography of the Open-worked beauty. Will add a few (better) ones when I get the chance tomorrow.
Old AP Box
Just a question for those who have been AP fans longer than I have. Does this box go with the old ROC that I bought or perhaps an old RO? My ROC is an E and probably from around 1999. In the big picture, I'm not too concerned other than if it goes with another watch, I'll ask the previous owner to keep looking ;)
AP chronograph 25940

DD40 - Whats the max wrist size on a stock bracelet without adding links?
Quick question that a many of you may know off the top of your head:What is the max wrist size that a stock DD40 bracelet can handle (comfortably) without having to buy extra links?I'm a 7.5 wrist normally. I tried on a fully linked DD40 last night and the watch was fairly snug. This was at an AD down in the Bahamas, at the end of a long hot day, so my wrist size was swelled bigger than normal. I'm thinking I would be fine with a stock size bracelet but wanted some feedback.I had never considered needing to add links to the president bracelet (thinking they came bigger) as I usually take one link out of a glidelock and on a Daytona I'm fully linked with the clasp micro adjustments on the inner/tightest slot. Thanks
