Gronefeld Parallax 1912 Tourbillon Watch
Thus far, the independent Dutch watch brand of Gronefeld had two distinctly different watches in their portfolio: their debut piece from 2008, which is a highly complicated and rather crazy-looking minute repeater tourbillon, and the One Hertz?from 2010, which thanks to its unique design dead-beat seconds hand procured the attention of watch enthusiasts.?But that was four years ago, and so it was just about time that they showed us a new piece, something that illustrated what direction the brand has been taking. Had a chance to handle PO next to rolex....
I have owned a couple omegas in the past . 300m sea masters.I have been digging the PO 45.5mm 8500 for a while now. I stopped in an AD I was walking past to check out an exp 2 and noticed they now carried omega. They never used to. It's the first time I have been able to handle those brands side by side. I like bigger watches (I'm 6-3, 8 flat wrists, work out etc) so for me IMO anything smaller than 43mm usually starts to look to small. For me right now, the PO on bracelet with 3 orange markers is perfection. It will be my next watch.
Double Incoming - Double the Pleasure Double The Fun from TAKUYA
OK - Kind of going through a bit of a paradigm shift I have been feeling a strange desire to move my 5960/1a. I have been sitting on it, as I am still thoroughly enjoying the watch, but somehow wanting more (without additional cash outlay).Luckily, I happen to be friends with a stellar human being and terrific seller, Thanh Do (AKA TAKUYA) and have an opportunity I am delighted with.Out goes the 5960/1a and in comes a 5711/1a AND a 5167a I know - some of you may be thinking: Well - that is a fair sentiment - but I must express clearly and concisely: I am excited about this Pictures to come
What other brand will you buy?
Now that it seems Rolex is going to restrict supply what other brand will you consider buying?
