Looking for a new obsession.
So I have my Rolex yacht-master and I wanted to round out my beginning collection with an Omega. I like the seamaster, particularly the 50 year anniversary Bond watch. I also like the speed master, more so for the historical value. I haven't been a fan of the chronograph faces, I think they're too busy. I wanted some owners input before I make my purchase. I wanted to stay around the $4,500 mark. Thanks in advance.

Another polishing question.
I am the happy owner of a Speedmaster Pro purchased in the late 70's. It's had four cleanings in that time, no repairs and NEVER been polished.The patina of the hands and dial face is very nice imo and the lume surprisingly shines brighter than my 1997 Rolex Sub.Now the time has come for a major overhaul and since the case has 30+ years of wear and tear I am tempted to have it cleaned up. My watch man is very established, has both Omega and Rolex accounts with top of the line refinishing machines and assures me metal loss will be microscopic and minimal.Inspite of usually being a rather decisive person I'm on the fence with this one. Resale is not an issue since I plan to pass this timepiece on to my son.Given that I'm pleased with the patina under the crystal and have no desire to replace the dial or hands, will a polish bringing it close to new status look odd ?I've been reading all the pros and cons over the years and would appreciate some personal opinions. Im going to Tokyo, HK, Beijing, and Shanghai for 5 weeks for work (IT support for a law firm) They are putting us up nice hotels. Is it safe to take the D500? Ive been to Japan and HK before with my Bluesy and it was fine but what about China?

Advice on selling my Tudor BBB
So, you can see over there <������ that I've only racked up a few posts on this forum, which poses a problem because I'm looking for the safest way to sell my Tudor Black Bay Bronze. I bought my first grown up watch (a GMT II) this last Fall and then went bonkers buying follow-up goodies in a frenzy. I've since slowed, and want to thin the herd a bit. I've now bought 4 watches, and the BBB is the only one I bought used. I've looked at a bajillion FS ads here to try to get more info, but I need insight from some of you forum veterans. Here are my questions:- will anyone take my FS ad seriously on this forum if I have no history here?- should I be worried about scammers if I'm the seller?- would I face the same kind of scrutiny on chrono24?- what can I do to prove trustworthy to potential buyers?Thanks in advance, y'all.
