Introducing The Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 4
Today we've got the latest installment in Harry Winston's Histoire De Tourbillon series, a collection of watches meant to explore various directions in which the tourbillon can evolve. The Histoire De Tourbillon 4 features a unique triple-case tourbillon in an attempt to counteract the effects of gravity from all angles, as unlike the pocketwatches for which the tourbillon was invented, our wristwatches are constantly in motion. 2 OF 3 Triple Cage Tourbillon The tourbillon mechanism in this watch is one of the most complex out there. There are three concentric cages, each of which sits at a different angle in relation to the cage outside of it, and each of which rotates at a different speed. First AP - Royal Oak 15300
Hey guys, I haven't posted much in the AP sub forum, but have read your posts as I was considering my first AP. I went to my AD and tried on the 15400, but it just didn't feel right - I think it felt a little bigger than what I had hoped for. However, I was able to track down a pre-owned 15300, and the size feels much better. The thickness of the bracelet and heft is taking some time to get used to, as my other sports watches are a pp 5711 and 5167, but the white/silver dial really compliments my predominantly dark dial watch collection. Anyway, if anyone else didn't find the 15400 to be a good fit, I recommend you give the 15300 a try!
Celebrating a milestone
I'm about to hit a major career milestone in two weeks. Thinking about celebrating with what else? A Patek of course. Yes I'm just rationalizing another purchase. What would you pick if you were celebrating a big career milestone today?
Starting new year with PAM560!!
Hi guys, just got my first Panerai and after lot of back and forth went with the new 8 days movement and base model with cleaner dial. The watch looks great and love the rubber strap feel on my wrist. I was more of Radiomir over Luminor type of guy but eventually converted to Luminor watch style; maybe will get Radiomir someday but for now here is my PAM560!!Just some quick pics for now!
