I need to have the crystal replaced on my Speedmaster. My local watch maker is unable to perform this service for me. Are there any watch repair centers that you recommend other than an Omega service center?

Rubber strap or steel? PO query
I am looking at a new watch, either Omega or Rolex.Q is it better value for money to get the steel strap 8500 PO, or the rubber?The watch costs the same, so curious if its a better deal to buy the watch with a steel strap and buy a rubber one for swapping, or the other way around? Also how easy is it to swap them around?Thanks

I have no idea why I like this watch so much?- It has no date.- Movement doesn't hack.- Winding is not-so-easy because the crown doesn't stick out very much.- Its not very water resistant. - No applied indices.- No white gold or polished hands.Why? :)
