Watches NEWS
Introducing: The A. Lange & S?hne Lange 1 In White Gold
In addition to the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, A. Lange & Söhne has decided to add a white-gold 38.5 mm version of the Lange 1 to the collection. The Lange 1 is already available in pink gold, yellow gold, and platinum. 1 OF 2 The new Lange 1 was released at SIHH in 2015, and was one of our favorite releases from last year. It was completely rebuilt with two changes to the dial: a thinner bezel and a slightly less pronounced “A” on the dial signature. They also added a new caliber movement, the L.121.1 manual winding movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The watch you see here is still the same with the exception of the white gold and added lume to the hands, which will surely be a big hit. 2 OF 2 Check back here for pricing and more photos, and for more information on A. Speedmaster Broad Arrow 3594 versus 60th anniversary
I'm looking really hard at both reissues of the classic first speedmaster, price considerations included, which would you gents prefer?Does the level of attention to detail to the original justify the difference in price?I'm not 100% convinced that one watch has the edge over the other.
Great WHite
I was bored and decided to pop the mesh on. What do you think?
You can't make this $#!% up
This story is too comical not to tell.I bought a 5711 white from a Patek AD in April to celebrate my engagement. I open it (shipped from out of state thus lack of pre purchase inspection) to immediately find the dreaded misaligned 12 has marks. Sigh ....I consult with the highlander and ultimately decide in going to send it back to the AD. The AD takes care of it and sends it to HSWA on my behalf and has the watch back on my wrist in 3 weeks! Hooray!I literally started laughing after just catching this now, like some game you play at a dive bar for a dollar. Anyone spot the mistake on my 2nd dial? Come on Patek! Are you just (expletive) with me?!I don't want a refund because this watch has sentimental value. I'm lost for words haha I will say I don't hate them yet, in fact I still love Patek Can they hurry up and hire Bas so they can get their sh!t together??
Excellent timekeeping
So I've just checked the timing of my 3 watches over an entire week.My 3 watches are :Apr 2000 GMT2 Pepsi Dec 2014 GMT2 BLNRNov 2017 Deepsea James CameronOver a week of rotational wear, the results are ;Pepsi +9 seconds BLNR +\- 0 secondsDeepsea +7 seconds I am amazed at that accuracy over a week, with the worst at +1.29 seconds a day.Impressive stuff!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
