WINNERS of Mr. H's 2012 Audemars Piguet Photo Contest
The winners are finally here!!! As mentioned by Ken on my other thread there are really no losers as everyone did a fantastic job with their photos. I can only wish I had more watch related stuff to giveaway to everyone that entered this year's contest. It was definitely a tough decision!!! A last minute decision was made and I have added a fourth place winner.I would like to thank our moderator Mailman (Paul) and our photo expert and friend Jocke for their help. I wish Dalip or Ken would've also been able to assist, however, Dalip is super busy right now and Ken was an incumbent. New Omega PO way to dear
Just spoke to an ad and the new PO with titanium and liquid metal will be ?4960, I think this is way too dear nearly ?2000 more than current model. I love the PO and have two of them, but no way would I pay ?4960 that is Rolex terriorty. I know some people will pay the preminum to have the latest model, but who thinks that it is too dear for an Omega.
Omega Service Centre in Toronto?
I've got to take the Speedy in for service, it's starting to run 25 to 30 seconds fast per day. Has anyone ever dealt with the Omega Service Centre in Toronto? Any Idea what their turn around time is?
Long Awaited Incoming
Well after waiting almost a year and not being able to find one of these here in Maryland anywhere, I finally caved and decided I didn't (couldn't) want to wait any longer. So here she is. Thanks to a flawless transaction with Takuya, my slightly used ( and by slightly I mean 11 days. I thought only person that bought a watch and then changed my mind a week later) my new SD43. This thing is definitely all that I hoped for and wanted. I loved the JC DSSD but it was just too thick. I love subs but wanted something that felt just a little tougher. The band on this is so well proportioned and the tapered lugs make it look even better. I have a tiny 6.5 inch wrist, but with the diver's extension removed it fits me as well as any other sub. Finally I am a member of the club. Now watch my AD call me tomorrow and say he has mine lol. Thanks for reading.
