Why is this watch so expensive? I understand all of the craftsmanship which has gone into it, but ?31K? hmmmmm....Thanks folks!Dino
Is this a good price on a BNIB Day Date 40 rose gold
I have been spending a good amount of money from my AD for sometime and all the watches in my signature have come from them with no waiting. My wife spends a significant amount also with them for jewelry.I have been thinking about buying myself a Day Date 40 in rose gold with the chocolate Roman numeral dial. I have been admiring my wife's day date 40 in YG. However, I have also been thinking about the Patek 5711 in rose gold or Audemars Piguet brick. But, both of those are more than double the price. Here is the deal: MSRP 37,550. My price is 30% off so it comes to $26,285 no tax. What do you think? Another Rolex for this deal or jump to th PP or AP.
GMT Pepsi 116719 - Watchfinder strike again (UK)
https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=386304Please read the above thread I started a few years ago. I had a white gold Rolex GMT Pepsi I decided to trade in to Watchfinder against an AP ROO. The AP was lovely but running 2 minutes fast per day! I decided I wasn’t happy and wanted to cancel the deal and stick with my GMT Pepsi. I sent the AP back exactly as received. Today I get my GMT back and surprise surprise, they’d stolen a white gold link yet again. I went ballistic with them so they are posting the link out to me. He even sent an email stating it measured 19cm when they received it and 18.5cm when they sent it back (and this was only 0.5 less as they’d extended the easylink clasp to make it look bigger(. Below is the email. Shocking business practise.
