New watch. Speedmaster Moonphase
Hello!It's been a while... I left the world of watches for sometime, but I'm back ;)On Monday if everything goes well, I'll have this nice watch. I had in the past three Omega, sold them. Speedmaster 50th anniversary, Seamaster quartz and Omega Ploprof. I hope this will stay long time with me. I never saw in person this watch I'm going to buy, just pictures and one video in YouTube, but looks amazing! Watch is from 02/2014, so still have one year warranty. Rolex finally broke
Well I haven't been around for awhile but this brought me back. Was changing the date on my explorer 2, 28th to 1st. And when I got to 31 is was getting harder to move the dial then a slight snap and no more movement. It worked for about a min them stopped all together. Well had the watch since 06 and was meaning to send it in for service and guess I have no choice now. So I work downtown chicago and decided to bring it in person to the chicago service center instead of shipping to Dallas, think the service will be the same? Good news in all of this is that I don't want to be without a watch so I ended up picking up a Panerai 112, hard to go away from rolex but liked the leather. But this is addicting already looking for a sub so can finally have a sub with NATO strap.

Emphasis on funny if sarcasm is to follow in comments.... My dilemma - 7 flat wrist.Love the Casio (50+mm) light, accurate, solar/atomic, great daily wearer. Looks a little informal.Love the look of the Panerai - classic, simple, black on a Rubber B. Sits flat to the wrist, and wears large. Annoying to wind all the time. A bit top heavy.The SD43 or SD50...whatever people are calling it these days - tried on at gray market dealer who wants way too much $$$. I think the 43mm seems to wear small...didn't feel much larger than 40mm Sub C. Maybe because lugs are rounded? Also, does it seem to sit high off the wrist, although the bracelet was a bit loose.Wish Rolex would make a 44mm diver with the newer wider bracelet. hmmm...wait for 2018?
