Titanium plots and SS plots... (strap links)
I know it's really random but just out of interest...Do the standard titanium plots and ss plots have same tone/color?In some pictures titanium looks darker but not too sure...Those of you who have models like FC diver and other Offshores, do the plots look the same in tone?
Good deal on a Seamaster Prof.
Can get one locally for $700 with box and papers. Has typical wear on the braclet and clasp and minor scratches on the bezel. The second hand has faded to an orange color. Is this a good deal? I have tried to search on here for recent sales but cant find anything.
I was finally was able to wear my new Railmaster
On December 30th, I received my Railmaster from fellow TRF member, xkalifornia (a great guy, by the way). It's the 36.2mm version. He bought it 6 months ago from an AD and provided me with all the paperwork and cards. The price was very right for an essentially new watch with 2 1/2 years of factory warranty left. After looking at several different Seamaster Aqua Tera watches, but had decided to focus on a Railmaster. So, I ordered a couple of extra links from my local AD. The AD called t

How important is an original bezel insert - 70's Sub?
I'm thinking about a 70's 5513 - the watch looks great but papers say a replacement bezel insert was installed five years ago. I've poked around but can't find an answer to the question of how important to the value of the watch is an original bezel insert? By important I guess I'm thinking about how does it generally affect the desirability and value when an insert is replaced? The bezel insert does appear to be aged or period as it's faded from black to a blue. Thanks in advance!
