Nomos Zurich Worldtimer Blue Watch
Achtung, German watchmaking enthusiasts! Since it was introduced in 2010, the Zurich Worldtimer - or Zrich Weltzeit, as it is known to our Deutsch-sprechen friends - has become one of the most compelling models released by the innovative German manufacture Nomos Glashtte. Now, the Nomos Worldtimer is being released later this fall in a new edition called the Nomos Zurich Worldtimer True Blue (or Zu?rich Weltzeit nachtblau). This proves an exciting development for two major reasons. For one, it gives this model a blue dial option C but even more significantly, updates the movement with new technology to make it even more in-house and original. Thus, in addition to the new dial color the movement in this new model is different than the original Nomos Zurich Worldtimer watch. The original version of the Nomos Worldtimer provided a stunning expansion of the brand's original design mandate. While the majority of the Nomos models reflect a minimal, Bauhaus-influenced aesthetic, the Nomos Wor
Speedmaster professional question
Hi all, I've just noticed that if I don't smoothly and quickly depress the first plunger, the stop watch hand jumps out to the five second mark and then runs normally. Has anyone else noticed that? Do I have an issue on my hands. I really hope not because this watch was away at the spa for many months getting serviced when there was some moisture under the crystal. Appreciate any advice / opinion. Thanks.
BB and GMT II
HiQuestion for those who have both, how does GMT II wear compared to the BB in terms of size on the wrist. Does it feel smaller or bigger compared to an in house movement BB ? I have the BB steel and feel that its just as big as I can go with respect to wrist size, any bigger and it will start to get uncomfortable. This is going to be my first Rolex , my wrist size is about 6.5 and I've pretty much made up my mind on getting the GMT II. Haven't tried the watch yet but will be making a trip to the local AD soon. Thanks! wrist shot to show how the BB looks on the wrist.IMG_20180222_065129.jpg

And giddy. It’s exquisite and my wife thinks I need my head examined because I already have a 16600 and that is not going anywhere.
Rolex ADs in Sydney- first impressions. Advice welcome!
So I’ve been wanting to get a “real” watch for a while and I thought I would finally get around to trying on the different styles I am interested in.I went to three ADs in Sydney- J Farren-Price, The Hour Glass and Swiss Concept (in that order). The service at the first two dealers were superior to the last one I visited. I felt the women who served me more more professional and more approachable than the last guy (you can pm me if you would like names). Additionally, the first two were able to offer me a similar discount, whereas the last place refused any negotiation at all. The watches I looked at were TT lady Date Justs with silver dials and most had diamond markers (pictures below). The prices I got quoted were on the 28mm TT date justs with diamond markers. Only one place (The Hour Glass) still had the 26mm in what I would be interested in. I did try on ones with a pearl dial and diamond markers, but I felt it was not practical as it was more difficult to read th
