Tissot T-Touch Classic Watch
The new Tissot T-Touch model for 2012 is the T-Touch Classic. Tissot takes the high-tech appeal of the T-Touch and dresses it in a morewell, dressy skin. Last year Tissot released the Racing-Touch (discussed here), which was a more entry level version of the popular T-Touch watch. ?At a similar price, the T-Touch Classic uses the same movement but offers a much more timeless look.Without T-Touch, Tissot really wouldn't be what it is today. Each year we get at least one new model of the popular touch-screen watch - maybe the original touch-screen watch. The way it works is simple. You press the pusher on the right side of the case to "activate" the sapphire crystal, and then you press various areas to activate or adjust certain functions. For that reason, you have functions listed around the periphery of the dial.T-Touch watches all have an analog dial and LCD screen. The hands on the dial readjust themselves in many instances to assist with the function being performed. For example, th
Your opinion and help please
Hi All,I am considering selling my two Hublot watches so I can buy the AP 15202. I used to be a big Hublot fan, but I recently found myself growing out of the brand and looking to resizing my collection to fewer watches but with more value and history. I currently own Rolex submariner 16610 and 16613, Rolex Milgauss GV and a PAM392. My question is do you think I should be selling my two Hublot watches to buy the AP 15202? I know this is an AP forum and most of us here love AP, but I would greatly appreciate your unbiased opinion. I am not considering selling any of my other watches as I truly love each one of them. The Hublots I am kind of bored of them and they don't get enough wrist time. However, again I am wondering if it is worth it to lose two watches to buy one watch. Also, does the AP 15202 retain its value? If I am to sell the Hublots I will be losing a good amount of money. I don't want this to be the case if I ever decide to sell the AP. I attach a picture of my two Hublots.
Speedy Pro price in Italy?
I am heading to Rome in a few days and wondered if it's worth buying the speedy pro there, as opposed to Hong Kong? I'm not sure what is the 'street price' should be? It's around 5,000 USD in Hong Kong. Thanks
Strap advice for slate dial patek, in particular 5146
I purchased a preowned 5146p from an AD this fall. It came on a grey strap that was too big for my wrist. I didn't like the grey strap anyway- it made the face look a little dull imo. As a temporary measure, they swapped the strap with a black one from another 5146p that fit better though was still too big, and offered to order 2 new straps of my choosing. For the first of my new straps, I opted for a matte navy blue. After a five month wait (!) since extra short is a custom order I got the strap fitted at Henri Stern today. Unfortunately, I don't love it, though I like it better than either the grey or the black. It looks much more grey than the samples I had seen and the watch face still doesn't pop as much as I would like. For my second strap, I am leaning towards matte chocolate. It seems to be able to dress up or down, while being a light enough color to allow the slate face to stand out. Thoughts? Any advice from owners of 5146G slate or 5146P would be appreciated! I
