Decision made = INCOMING! (pics!)
After some serious consideration, and equal desire between the Pam 233 and the DSOTM, I made a decision and want to share it with you. Thanks for all the input when I was wondering about these two pieces. The 233 is still on my list, but will have to wait at least another year. Special thanks to Alfred (FNFZ4), one of the best trusted sellers on TRF. But on to the DSOTM! First impressions - it came in a very heavy and nicely finished black lacquered box. Very classy. The watch is stunning. It's black and its beautiful. It's shiny, but only when its reflecting light (I'm sure at the boutique, under all those lights it must really dazzle and shine, but under normal lighting and outdoors, it is perfectly balanced.) The sides of the case have a brushed finish whereas the front part of the lugs (where the it curves) is polished. It's not as large as i thought it would be. Tried on a few Patek Philppe Watches today.
Hi Guys,I tried on a few Patek Philppe watches when I was at the AD today. Wow they make a fine watch.It was not busy at all so the sales person was able to let me handle a 5101P 10 Day Tourbillon it was a bit out of my price range at 380K (CAD).I like the 5119 Calatrave model. It was going for only 18K. How much does this model sell for in the USA? Same price or much cheeper?Maybe someday for now I will stick with Rolex.Take Care,Eric

How would you improve the model 114300
What would make this ref 114300 a better watch ? For me a 41mm case and the removal of the colour dots . I realy would like a straight forward watch without any trimmings and this is so close .

Adding or changing collection
I've been thinking of adding another watch or possibly selling a couple to upgrade . My current collection is as follows. -SubC ND-Sub LV Kermit-GMT Pepsi birth year-Omega Speedmaster mkII racing dial-Omega SM300 watchcoI have been eyeing an Exp 1 36mm or maybe selling a few and getting a Daytona. Other options would be a speedmaster. I really don't dress up to buy something more formal, never wear a suit. Also with the rotation I have been moving away from date watches, I don't even set the date when I wear my sub or gmt.Any thoughts on what I should get sell or consider in order to add variety?
