Welder K26 Watches Give Color Options With Four Interchangeable Crystal Lenses
This is a nifty idea, and I am glad that we are seeing it from an Italian watch maker first. Welder is a bit new to the watch game offering arguably more modern looking large watches similar to U-Boat and the Bell & Ross BR01 line of watches. Large square designs house provocative round dials with everything from functional to minimalist looks. Priced aggressively among competitors, Welder seeks to be a fashionable and less expensive alternative to some of the other players. Most of their watches have quartz movements, with a few mechanical options either now or coming in the near future. The Welder K26 line of watches has a number of different designs in chronograph and three-hand models (which Welder simply refers to as "data"). The new series come with four interchangeable filters that are red, light blue, lime green, and cream yellow. You simple unscrew the filter (which is placed over the crystal), and screw on a new one. The effect is a vastly different look for the watches, m
Breitling chrono super ocean appraisal
Hello everyone. My dad received a new Breitling chronometre super ocean last november for his retirement from his employer. The watch came with box only and has no owners manual or papers. The watch is brand new and has never been worn. I took it to a local jewelry mart and I wanted to see how much it was worth. They offered me $1600. She said that's the best she can do because of no papers. My question is this a fair offer? Should I keep the watch and try to get papers for it, (if possible)? Should I try a Breitling distributor? I'm in the Chicago area and this was the only person who seen the watch and quoted me a price. Any other good places I can take the watch to have appraised? Thank you for any help.
Was inspired to wear her today........
........from a post I read in the vintage forum. Haven't worn her in a while but I really enjoy her when I do!Sent from my mobile device. Please excuse spelling, punctuation, and brevity.
Has Patek ever scratched your watch?
I bought my 5167a new from an AD in June who also fitted the strap. After a week I found the strap a bit tight (fitted in an air conditioned office). So I got my local AD (as they were closer) to order a new strap and fit it for me (costing 180). Unfortunately they managed to scratch the lug. They also noticed the AD who fitted the first strap had scratched the clasp. So they sent it to the Patek service centre in the UK who polished out the scratches and returned it to me 5 weeks later. However they had switched over the straps so the clasp was not centred (they put the longer strap at 6 o'clock). I sent it back to them to switch it back and they returned it today. To me amazement there is a new scratch at the 11 o'clock lug! I am not sending it back again, it is a new watch that I have only had in my possession for a week and I am not sure all this polishing is a good idea. I am very careful with my watches, but appreciate that marks are inevitable, however when they are caused by s
Am I Crazy? 16570 Content Inside...
Hi Everyone,I bought this Exp II 16570 a while back and I have a small decision to make. As I look at more and more watches here, I realized that my bezel seems to have been polished. It's not the worst, and you should be able to see in the pictures that the bezel isn't in a perfect round shape in some lighting/angle vs. the unpolished 16570's bezel which is a lot sharper.I called RSC here in Asia and was quoted $230 for a new bezel and installation. I realized that this may be a small issue, but I am quite OCD so I am leaning towards replacing it. Thoughts on what you guys would do? Obviously it's not easy to tell unless you look at watches all day like us here..... Let me know and thanks!
