UTS Celebrates 10 Years With Special Watches
Since 1998, mechanical engineer Nicolaus Spinner and business partner Stephen Newman have focused on building quality tool watches for professionals. UTS Watches are all exclusive designs, the cases are manufactured in-house, and each watch is assembled near Munich by their designer. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, UTS presents an updated look for their 500M and 1000M Divers. The watches feature new limited edition bezels and deep black Galvanic dials. The 500M is tested to 1,000 meters and 1,000M, with sapphire display back (the only one of its kind), is tested to 1,500 meters. Both models measure 43mm in diameter and 14mm in height and feature Swiss ETA movements.

Xemex Concept One Chronograph Watch
It feels like it has been a while since we have seen something totally new from Xemex. The last few years saw increasingly up-market timepieces from Xemex as the Swiss watch market kept getting stronger. We all know what happened recently and this new Concept One Chronograph watch is going to be quite reasonably priced. It does beg the question if Xemex's Ruedi Kulling decided somewhere in the design process that an up-market watch would not have as much market appeal these days, and decides to place a quartz movement inside instead of a mechanical movement. Who knows, but it is a good speculation.The quartz chronograph movement is likely a Ronda, as Xemex has been known to use their movements in the past. The functionality is simple and straight forward, but it is the interesting design direction for Xemex that interests me. Condensation inside crystal of speedy
I was wearing this speedy recently outside for a short time in the rain,the watch did'nt get wet,but when I went inside the inside of the crystal had condensation on it,it went away after 30mins or so. This watch is circa 1993. What does this watch need done to prevent this happening?Thanks Tom

New strap for my Gondolo
I like it more the the stock strap....Matte finish and I think it sets the dial color off a bit better.
