Montblanc Limited Edition Star Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph
Press release - dedicated to the inventor of the first "writer time" for the first of its own first-calibre, Montblanc has created a chronograph of historic proportions, the name of the inventor of the chronograph: Nicolas Rieussec, who, in 1821, developed a watch with rotating dials in which an ink marker attached to the fixed index wrote the downtime. Technique of Rieussec of two rotating disks has inspired the new Montblanc Star Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph, and this has been integrated in a unique masterpiece of chronographic watchmaking with barrels of binoculars and a 72 hours power reserve.

It is entirely in-house, only 2.97mm thick, and houses a 14mm one-minute tourbillon at 6 o'clock that acts as the small seconds indicator. Once cased-up, the entire UTTE is still only 8.34mm thick, which makes it the thinnest tourbillon currently available. Through two barre
