Richard Mille RM 055 Jackie Chan Watch For The Dragon Heart Foundation
As a special one-off piece Richard Mille is making this RM 055 JC watch for charity. It will be auctioned off on September 14th in Beijing as part of the brand's continual push to capture more of the Chinese market. Who better than to do it with Jackie Chan? The watch will officially be called The RM 055? JC Jackie Chan's Dragons' Heart Foundation. I wanna little dragon's heart in my life, I hear it is really tasty with BBQ sauce.Chan has worked with watch brands before. I believe there was something with Piaget, and here I discussed a limited edition IWC watch that he worked on as well. This one-off piece has the logo of the Dragon's Heart Foundation on the dial, which has been sorta of integrated with the design of the hands. The colors are nice, and you can still see much of the watch underneath. The RM 055 has a tourbillon based manually-wound movement with the time, power reserve indicator, and torque indicator. A cool piece, and it is up to you to decide whether or not the colorf
Tissot Heritage Navigator 160th Anniversary Review
It's been a trend as of late with some of the larger brands that have been around for a while to bring back a classic model from their archives. Whether as a special edition or as a retro mainstay of their line, these reissues stand out amongst modern watches, often surpassing them in style. Tissot continues this trend with a complex watch that is a dazzling today as it must have been when it was first released; the Heritage Navigator 160th Anniversary. The story of the Tissot Heritage Navigator 160 starts in 1953 with Tissot's 100th anniversary. The 1950's marked the dawn of commercial air travel. It was trendy, sexy and luxurious, so it is of no surprise that watch brands began designing for the jet-set. Famously, you have watches like the Rolex GMT-Master, with its iconic "Pepsi" blue and red bezel as well as GMT function for tracking multiple time zones. For their centenary Tissot created a very innovative World Time watch, which could be used to tell the time, at a glance, for majo

Seeing before buying
Hi everyone,I've been trying to compare a 5167 or a 5711. I know the blue 5711 is ridiculously hard to come by and the white 5711 is also quite scarce in stores (but a shorter wait list). The discussion comes up quite frequently about comparing the two and everyone's preferences, but one thing I have been struggling with recently is actually trying to see these in person and finding which looks best on me.I've seen tons of pictures (thanks to everyone on this amazing forum!) and would definitely love to purchase my first Patek, but I have a hard time deciding on one of these watches before actually getting to see and compare them in person and trying them on. I went to my local Patek dealer this weekend and called an out-of-state one I visited a couple of months ago. Neither unfortunately had any of the three in stock. While traveling, I've tried to visit local dealers who always tell me the 5711 is a wait list item that I'll never get to see in stores.Any advice on getting to see a &g

Saw this on IG. I would like to see it with a red triangle on the bezel below the lume pearl.
