H. Moser Perpetual 1 Takes Top Award
H. Moser’s Perpetual 1 collected one of Germany’s most prestigious awards when more than 10,000 enthusiasts voted it the winner of the Goldene Unruh (Golden Balance) in the category for watches priced above 25,000 euros. The award is presented by WatchTime’s sister publication Uhren Magazin in partnership with the popular German magazine Focus. Ten watches in each of 5 price categories are presented and the winners are selected by popular vote by readers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

If you are looking for a good priced, well mannered, and large sized pilot style watch, this just might be the piece for you. Archimede released their next Pilot automatic watch with the Pilot XL Automatik. The watch takes everything you like about the traditional simple Pilot watch look and ups the size from 39mm or 42mm to 45mm. The crown itself is 8mm thick. This is actually a good size making for a decidedly large watch that I would NOT describe as being silly big. "That giant watch looks ridiculous on your wrist!" .is not a statement this watch will attract.The Archimede Pilot XL is housed in a steel case (made by Ickler) with a brushed finish, and the sapphire crystal has a double AR coating - so it is quite easy to view and won't really have glare. The dial is simple with high contrasting numerals and blued hands coated with lots of lume. It is a classic looking and highly functional watch face. Other Chronographs of the Montblanc Villeret collection can be much larger, with sizes going from 45 mm I think. Shame that the Pulsograph Vintage is not available in a larger size that it is such an interesting beautiful timepieces.

Can anybody wear a Seamaster?
I'm looking for a new watch and to me the Omega Seamaster beats the Rolex Submariner, both on specs and price.However, these watches are big at 41-42 mm, isn't it just to big for a slim 1,78 person like me without fat wrists?
