First AP thoughts - Pics from browsing at AD on a lazy Sunday
Love the RG 41MM RO with blue dial, and the AP guys will give me a 18% discount. Really tempted. What do guys think?
Qn on Novelties
Pardon my ignorance.I've browsed through AP site watch browser and noticed only a few watches have novelty written under them. Can someone help me understand novelty better?Does it mean it's more exclusive? Limited? The best series? Coveted? Award-winner in its class?I couldn't help but see that both the ROO Diver (black and silver dials) 15710 are both novelty. How are the pieces labelled novelty? Any rulings etc? If anyone could pass me a link to their site on this would be great. I would just have to read and not waste others' time writing. Thanks!
Can anybody enlighten me on the Chronostop?
Greetings TRF,The title pretty much says it all, I've been looking at Chronostop's for a little while now and was wondering what could be said about them. Fear not, I'm not going to ask you if I should go for it or the price I should pay for one...I have been thinking about a stainless steel chronograph for some time and a single pusher model would always be interesting to me, surely it would stand out in a collection (especially given the fact that all the chronograph's I've owned thus far were regular two pushers models). I know its dial is very simple and perhaps not very convenient given the complication it has but I really like it (whether we're talking about the regular one or the driver one). I know some come with tachymeters or diving bezels but the very simple one is the one I happened to see more. What I want to know is if anybody has some information on the model itself. In my research I've found out that they were designed and made for a younger generation of enthusiasts bac
Looking for a great AD or Trusted Seller in Vegas/LA for 5712SS & 5726 White Dial...
Evening all,I'll be in Vegas in 3weeks and want to look at nailing down this 5712SS or 5726 White Dial... problem is its a tough trigger to pull without trying them both on side by side. With that being said.. can anyone recommend a Trusted Seller on here or an AD that has both Models in Stock. I know Watch Expo with Paul has them both and gets great ratings it seems on here as well as Yelp ect... but any and all information would be appreciated. Im happy to fly down from Vegas to LA for the day for this.I've tried the 3x AD's in Vegas and all have the 5726 White Dial.. but none have the 5712SS!Let me know.. thanks team!
