Hands-On with the Nomos Glashutte Limited Edition Club for Timeless
Back in May, Timeless Luxury Watches of Texas announced a limited edition Nomos Club Datum in blue. Restricted to a minute 100 pieces, they sold out fast and for good reason; they were ridiculously gorgeous. With inky blue dials off set with a cherry red seconds hand, they were an exciting riff on an already fantastic watch. Now, I'm a bit biased as I own a Club (not this one, but the cream dial 36mm non-date version), but having had a couple of weeks to spend with the Timeless Club I can easily say it's a winner, and a great example of how to use color on a dial.? In June 2013, UK watchmaker Bremont introduced the Codebreaker �C a flyback chronograph with GMT function made in collaboration with the historic Bletchley Park Trust. We showed you the watch moments after launch, highlighting Bletchley Park's important role as the center of code breaking operations for the British Army during WWII. The Codebreaker incorporates a number of real historical artifacts into the design, including parts of the punchcards used for code breaking. Though the watch was made in very limited numbers, online retailer MrPorter has secured a number of Codebreakers to offer online starting today.? 2 OF 4 Only 240 steel and 50 18k rose gold Codebreakers will be produced. Rolex are doing what they can.... But it stings I got a call today from UK Rolex AD I've dealt with numerous times. My name had come up for consideration for a white dial Daytona 116500ln - and so it was passed to rolex to consider for an allocationApparently this is the way rolex UK want it to be done now, what with 7 year waiting lists in place for some models in some stores!!! And I suppose to cut the supply to the secondary market.... I suppose it seems like a reasonable idea...
