Raven Defender Watch Launched Via Kickstarter
Wea?ve covered watches from Benarus and Raven in the past, and now Raven has taken to Kickstarter to launch the Defender, a new model with an unexpected design and decidedly strong value proposition. While Raven, a sister company to Benarus, is generally known for making nicely priced homages to watches like the Rolex Submariner, the Raven Defender is an entirely different concept that blends the easy-wearing charm of a field watch with the functionality of an aviation derived dual-crown design and the specs of a Benarus dive watch. The Kickstarter campaign runs until mid November and allows Raven to offer a considerable discount on a wide variety of case finishes and multiple dial colors. The Raven Defender uses a 42mm case in either steel (your choice of brushed, blasted or DLC black) or brass. Bezel insert.. Would you change it?
I have purchased this oem insert for my omega. Now that I have it I'm not 100% sure if I should change it out. What do you think?? Thanks. With this...

Much appreciated. I am missing the Speedy Pro.Considering foregoing the Daytona for a Speedy / GMTIIC combo!
Are we in a 5711 "bubble"?
So, we all know that that 5711 is absurdly, hilariously difficult to get these days. And gray market is even worse. I even found myself considering a 5711R before slapping some sense into myself today. So, curious everyone - do you think we're in the middle of a bubble on this piece? Or is this the new reality on steel Patek sports watches?
PM and sizing
When I picked up my Plat Daytona earlier this week AD recommended setting the adjustment in the clasp one notch tighter than my SS Daytona due to the increased weight. SS was very comfortable - this isn't bad but feels different. Is sizing down a good move? Am I just not used to the weight yet? Others with experience - did u size differently with PM vs SS with same watch?
