Jaeger-LeCoultre has been riding a wave of high praise in the wake of their SIHH announcements of vintage-inspired watches, such as the Tribute to Memovox Deep Sea of 2011 and the Tribute to Deep Sea Chronograph?from earlier this year. Was in Beijing China last week and visited the AP boutique. They have all the new pieces available. One thing I found out is that they offer 8 years warranty and with 9% VAT refund, seems like pretty good deal. Also, there used to be 3-4 ADs in the city, and they were all closed. I guess AP has begun to aggressively implementing their new strategy of closing down ADs and opening their own boutiques.

Ladies Nautilus vs. AP Royal Oak vs. ?
Its time to start thinking about the next purchase for the Missus (probably need to even up the watch count for the year before I float the next acquisition target).I'm thinking pink gold is the way to go and looking for something that is more sporty than her Twenty-4. The short-list is currently the 7011 women's Nautilus and the AP Royal Oak ladies, both bracelet versions.Which of these two would you pick? Are there any other models I should consider?
