Watches NEWS
Gentlemen, show me your scratches!!
So, I've just picked up a 15400 blue to keep my PP 5711 company and I absolutely love the watch - the design, the weight, the clasp, and the stunning blue dial. Now, I'm not feint of heart, I wear my every Rolex I own with PCLs without fear of scratches (they happen to add character IMHO), but with the new RO I want to wear it as freely, but do fear scratches (more so than with the PCL Rolex lines) as the flat planes/edges of the watch are simply stunning. In order to help me get over this silly fear of scratches, can you kindly post pics of your well-worn 15400's, 15300's, esteemed 15202's, and chronos to assuage my concerns.I happen to come from the NO POLISH at any cost school of thought so your pictures will be most appreciated. Thanks in advance - very happy to have joined the club!!
Rubberclad and suit
Hey guys, what do you think about wearing a Rubberclad with suit?A friend os mine is selling his Ap and I'm considering buying it! This is going to be my only and everyday watch, since I sold my collection. My concern is that I'm a lawyer and wear suit everyday. Thoughts?
MBrillant Olympus rarity...?
My friend let me try on his new MountBrillant Olympus. It's got a lot on the dial, however the moonphase, and the four year calendar hand off date setting are very nice features in opinion- Also, the bracelet is just about the most comfortable stainless steel I've tried. Does anyone know if these are really that rare..? He has all the paperwork/books, bakelite box and certificate...
Can a small hair/dust stop your watch?
Just got back my PO saphire back from service (authorized service) and notice (with a loupe) a small hair/dust fixed on a screw. If it gets loose can it stop the watch? Please note this is not visible on naked eyes. But is there, should i take it back? It took 5 months, to get the service done.ThanksEnviado de meu SM-G955F usando Tapatalk
Classic Omega
Hello All,As you might remember I bought an Omega Speedmaster sapphire sandwhich a little while back. Now I am finding myself looking at Omega watches all the time. I am sure you guys know the feeling. They just seem like pre-owned or even NIB from an AD to be a better value than a lot of other watches. My plea for help is this. What else is a classic Omega that an Omega collection should have. Perhaps a SMP, the bond version? Or the Planet Ocean? (they have caught my eye)I would think any Omega collection would need a speedy, but what else would one need?Pics pease if you have any ideas.TIA,Mark
