A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Daymatic Watch
Although I've written about the new A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Daymatic watch elsewhere, I needed to mention it to my primary audience here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer, especially after getting my hands on them. Lange has officially released a new "grail watch." Extending the attractiveness of the Lange 1 line even more by essentially adding a new automatic movement and twisting up the design a bit. Plus, the watch has grown by just a hair from the Lange 1.?When A. Lange & Sohne was a reborn luxury brand in the 1990s, the avant garde Lange 1 watch to be their flagship model - with a look and poise un-paralleled elsewhere. Now, 15 years after the Lange 1 debuted its asymmetric face, we are presented with a new vision of the model. It is important to realize that there have been a number of Lange 1 watch iterations over the years. From the large sized XL model with its overlapping dials, to the world timer or moonphase models - the watch collection certainly has its share of versio

5204p (black dial) vs 5370p
Hey allI am having tough time to pick 5204p or 5370p for few months. Every single day I pick the other one. Price is not the issue between those 2 for me. Here are my pros and cons for each of them. 5204p- it has a perpetuel calendar complication that I do not have in my collection. But in the same time I do not really like manuel winding mechanism in perpetual also I prefer apperture display which only 5208 has- it matches better with matt black strip compared to 5370p - on my wrist it feels a little bit small- it is just like 35k more expensive than 5370p and you have perpetual5370p- with its case, size, email dial and breguet numbers it looks great and I think it looks better than 5204p- I feel like it has a better future value- For my wrist size is great- however I have great watches by getting this one my collection will still lack of perpetualThis is how it is for me and looking to hear your comments...Thanksggencerr on instagram
What would you choose? A 5036/1G or 5040J?
First post on the forums! I've been a member since November but have been lurking and learning a whole lot. Went from a set of forgettable Movados to a small collection of timepieces that serve very specific purposes in my simple life: right now I have a 3940P, 5711/1A, 3919J and a Rolex 114270. The people in this forum helped a whole lot in terms of helping me field sources, choosing between ADs and greys, etc. - for this, many, many thanks!I'm looking to add another piece to my set and I'm faced with an interesting decision:1. The 5036/1G - annual calendar in white gold. I like the metal bracelet (helps that it's a whole lot of gold, too), and I love the calendar and moonphase function. Metal bracelets would be very welcome when things heat up during the Spring and summer - leather straps just don't last given my sweat patterns and volume!2. The 5040J - tonneau case perpetual calendar. To lower the price and make it comparable to the 5036/1G option I'll need to trade in my 391
