Got it!
Just got my second ap. after trying on many different models I stick to this strange taste
Reuniting w an old friend
Had my AP in for svc as it was running slightly fast. Watchmaker noted that it needed additional lubrication in several areas of the movement. So they basically cleaned and serviced the movement of my 15400. Just got it back after almost 4 weeks. Love at 1st sight. Had to laugh at the vacuum sealed capsule - ImageUploadedByTapatalk1374606247.436599.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1374606089.770602.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1374606106.155885.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1374606123.489997.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1374606135.288602.jpg
Anyone having problems with their ROO? I am....
I picked up a Jarno Trulli towards the end of last week (sorry for not having posted any wrist shots or incoming thread, thought I would keep this one low key). I wore it very sparingly on Thursday and had let it sit over the entire weekend. Just yesterday morning as I picked it up to put on my wrist, I noticed the watch wasn't moving at all no matter how much I wind it. After having it on my wrist for the entire day it still wasn't moving at all, just dead, chrono too, completely dead.....I'm not sure what the general consensus regarding the durability or QC of ROO's are but I was sure really upset about this. Very indeed. K I'm done venting now. Haha cheers Any similar experience of yours you can share is greatly appreciated.
Chrono Minute Register Creeping Early Normal?
When I run the chrono on my new Speedy, the minute subdial creeps (not jumps or ticks over immediately at the 1min mark) to the 1 minute marker when the chrono seconds hand is at or stopped between 59 and 59.5 seconds, not at the 60 second mark when I would expect it to complete it's advance. The effect being, that if I am timing something with the chrono that takes Xmin and 59.5 seconds, the chrono timer will read X+1min and 59.5 seconds. Seems like a pretty glaring accuracy problem to me - has anyone else seen this? One other small issue is that the hours subdial seems to sit just to the right of the 12 hour marker. I've read this could be common as well. Is this poor quality for a watch at this price point?
Can you identify this female (vintage?) Omega De Ville?
Hi guys,This is one of my GF's watch, which her father purchased to her mother many years ago, not exactly sure when. Anyway, I've been googling around for awhile without finding anything like it. So, do you know;1. What ref / model it is?2. What year / decade it could be from?Threw in a pic comparing it to my PAM 112 as size comparison btw!
