Chronoswiss White Gold “Perpetual Black”
Chronoswiss expands its Perpetual Calendar series, adding a new model in white gold with a black dial, called the Perpetual Black. The new model joins the existing stainless steel and rose gold versions, each with white dials. Chronoswiss says the new version’s black dial gives it added versatility, allowing it to move easily from the office to everyday wear to dressy affairs. The Chronoswiss Perpetual Calendar features a dial made from silver with a varnished top and blue steel hands in the Poire Stuart style. The new model measures 40mm in diameter with a 36-part case surrounding a Chronoswiss manufacture caliber C. 127. The movement measures 26.2 mm x 5.2 mm and it has 30 jewels. The 18k crown and patented screw-down adjustment pushers do not have to be replaced during water-resistance tests since the gaskets are directly attached to the tubes. This ensures that the watch is water resistant to 30m.The Chronoswiss Perpetual Black retails for $34,600.Chronoswiss is a German wa
Having dial replaced... will the process affect the movement's accuracy???
Hello everyone,I have a Mid Size SMP ref: 2551.80.00, calibre 1120.I had it serviced back in Oct 2011 and had a new dial installed. As it turns out the application of the luminous material applied to indices 12, 6 & 9 is not as thick as the rest resulting in a weaker glow, not as intense. Long story short, Swatch Group Canada, although states that it is within Omega quality control standards, will replace the dial free of charge. Here is my main question, right now the accuracy is excellent... +/- 0sec on my wrist and dial up and only +/- a few seconds in all other positions 24hrs. Will taking apart my SMP by Swatch Group to replace the dial affect the accuracy of the movement in any way or will they have to regulate it again? Thanks for the advice.
Interested in Omega
Hello, I'm interested in picking up my first Omega. I like the classic look of this watch and think it would look great with a suit. However, I have bought mostly Rolex's in the past. Can anyone help me with this?? How do I know if its real? What is the value of the watch?? Thanks!!!
Thinking about a Pam 537
I was walking around my local AD yesterday and have always enjoyed looking at panerai. None of them have ever really caught my eye enough for me to jump on and pull the trigger. So long story short I was walking around and lo and behold I see a 42mm panerai, dial on it is absolutely gorgeous with the waffle finish and the strap combo is just stunning. I am thinking long and hard about this one, my AD is willing to do 15% off haven't been able to talk them into more (yet). Wondering what everyone in the Panerai forum thinks of the 537 and how it is for an everyday watch.thanks again and if you have some pictures please post them =)
SubC order SD43
Hi,A close friend is debating if he should buy the classic sub with date or the SD43. It will be his first and most likely only Rolex. Which one would you chose and why?I think the SD43 as it's an anniversary model as he mentioned that this will be his only one... well I told him that I said the same when I bought my first Sub 10 years ago lol.Cheers,Alex
