On Tuesday June 9, Bell & Ross launches its new limited edition BR01 Airborne at Colette, the Parisian fashion and style boutique. BR01 Airborne watches will be exclusively available at Colette for one week beginning June 8th. Bell & Ross is introducing the Airborne to coincide with the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of D-Day by President Barack Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The BR 01 Airborne was developed in honor of the courageous soldiers who fought during World War II, particularly the paratroopers of the U.S. Airborne divisions. 1st Incoming AP!!! Introduced to the Collection...
I'm ecstatic to soon join the AP club in a few moments time. I've patiently waited to find this model and peruse through many watches to finally choose this AP. But I first wanted to introduce the state of my collection, and what the AP would join...You can see a few of my pieces are inspired with an automotive background...1. Heuer Monaco 1133bIntroduced in 1969 as the first square shaped automatic chronograph. This is the model Steve McQueen made famous in the movie LeMans.2. Vacheron Toledo 1952Inspired by the traditional classical elegance of the model in the 1950's, the unique shape has the exact dimensions of the original, which was 36 x 43 mm. It has a complex dome shaped square sapphire crystal...there are no right angles on the bezel, sapphire or lugs. 3. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual TimeAs the oldest watch manufacturer with rich long tradition in horologic history, this sporty timepiece is a near daily wearer for me. 4. Incoming 5905p
Needless to say, I am thrilled to have this baby inbound. I would like to send a huge thank you to Socal to az. I was recently in NY for the exhibition and fell in love with the blue 5905p. As much as I liked the watch, somehow the buckle on the strap seemed inconsistent with that level of watch. Then I came across the Socal post where he had ordered it with the depolyant clasp and that clinched it for me. The pictures of that strap on the watch solved the inconsistency. So, thank you again for helping contribute to my addiction.
How do the Grey Sellers get inventory?
TRF,How can the grey sellers who post on the classified forum keep their stock constantly refurbished? A couple of them have websites and it seems like they have 3-5x more watches that my local AD!I just don't get it. I have called around looking for a couple hard to find SS models and all I get is the 1-2 year wait song and dance. Should I just give in to the Grey side and pay them their premium??The best,NB
