Jean-Claude Biver Steps Down as Hublot CEO; Ricardo Guadalupe Named Successor
Hublot has announced that Jean-Claude Biver stepped down as CEO effective January 1. Hublot Managing Director Ricardo Guadalupe was named Biver’s successor. The transition has been planned for some time and is based on the significant accomplishments Guadalupe and Biver achieved together since 2005, and on the 20-year personal friendship the two men share. Biver will continue to serve Hublot as the company's Chairman of the Board, and he will continue to offer valuable business strategy and product development insights. Omega buckle?
Does anyone know any good sources for authentic 16mm stainless steel Omega buckle? I just purchased a midsize seamaster and plan on installing a leather strap. It seems like the current Omega buckles have the logo embossed... Did they ever make with a large logo? eBay is rife fake buckles so I'm trying to avoid that route if possible

5711 vs 5712 can someone experienced please elaborate?
I've been searching for the impossible to find 5711 and was offered several opportunities to order a 5712. I wanted to ask the experts here what the primary differences are between the 5711 and 5712 besides aesthetics. The date and seconds hand have their own dials on the 5712 and a power reserve can be seen on a dial. There is a moon phase but it seems like that is the only functional difference between the two watches. Can someone educate me on any other major differences I'm missing? (Difference in movement, power reserve, etc.)

Back in Black (Alligator Straps on 16518)
Since I have lost some weight (actually my AD convinced me to try his diet with him, it worked pretty well lost about 40 pounds from 200 to 155) my wrist got a bit smaller. I decided to switch back to my regular size black alligator strap for my 16518. At first I was terrified to change straps on my daytona, and the first few switches did not go smoothly. I just switched back to my black alligator without much drama and the watch looks completely different.

Explorer I Mk I Hands Replaced at RSC
I read on another forum that a RSC replaced the hands on a 214270 Mk I with the updated Mk ii hands to get it up to current spec. Anyone else heard of this?
